Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information CodeSimulators ("we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and who we share it with.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address, and your name/profile photo if you sign in with Google
- Subscription status — whether you're subscribed, which provider you paid through, and when your access expires
- Basic usage data (e.g. which pages you visit) via Vercel Analytics
We never see or store your card number, UPI ID, or other raw payment details — those go directly to Razorpay or Dodo Payments, our payment processors. We only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a transaction reference.
2. How we use it
We use this information to run your account, unlock the content you've paid for, and improve the Service. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the third-party services that make the Service work:
- Clerk — authentication (sign-in and session management)
- Supabase — database hosting
- Google, GitHub, or Microsoft — OAuth sign-in, if you choose one of those methods
- Razorpay / Dodo Payments — payment processing (India and international, respectively)
- Vercel — hosting and basic, privacy-friendly analytics
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember light preferences (like your preferred programming language for code samples). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@codesimulators.com and we'll process it manually.
6. Security
We rely on our infrastructure providers' security practices (Supabase, Vercel) and never handle raw payment credentials ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
7. Changes
We may update this policy occasionally; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
