Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CodeSimulators (the "Service"), operated by Sashi Vardhan Reddy as an individual based in India ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
CodeSimulators is an educational platform that teaches data structures and algorithms, low-level design, and system design through interactive, step-by-step visualizations. Some content is free; the rest requires a one-time premium purchase.
2. Accounts
You need an account (via Google, GitHub, or Microsoft sign-in, or an email verification code) to access personalized features and premium content. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Payment and billing
Premium access costs ₹699 (India) or $19 (international), charged as a single one-time payment that unlocks lifetime access to the Service's premium content. We do not enroll you in a recurring subscription, mandate, or auto-renewal of any kind — there is nothing to cancel, and we will never charge you again for the same access.
₹699 / $19 is a founding price for early users. We may raise the price for new purchases as the curriculum grows, but that never affects access you've already paid for — once unlocked, it's yours for life regardless of future price changes.
Payments are processed by Razorpay (for India) or Dodo Payments (for everyone else); see our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or premium access with people who haven't paid for it
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service's content or code
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent the subscription paywall
- Use the Service in any way that disrupts it for other users
5. Intellectual property
All curriculum content, visualizations, and code on the Service are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own learning — not a license to redistribute or resell it.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is," for educational purposes. We don't guarantee that using it will result in any particular outcome (e.g. an interview offer or job). To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time; since there's no recurring billing, there's no subscription to cancel.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
